Privacy Policy
StickyCue • Effective Date: September 20, 2026
Privacy Summary: StickyCue is built with a privacy-first architecture.
All your cues and notes are stored 100% locally on your device. We do not collect, track, or share your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect zero personal data.
- Local Storage (SwiftData): All cues, checklists, urgency states, and notes created within StickyCue reside exclusively on your physical iOS device. We do not have servers that read, store, or transmit your reminders.
- No Analytics or Tracking: We do not integrate third-party analytics SDKs, crash report services that collect identifiers, or ad trackers.
- No Account Required: StickyCue functions immediately without requiring you to create an account, register an email, or sign in.
2. Apple Technologies & Permissions
StickyCue utilizes standard iOS platform features to deliver core functionality:
- Live Activities & Dynamic Island (ActivityKit): Used strictly to display your active cue on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. This data is rendered locally by iOS.
- Local Notifications: StickyCue schedules on-device local notifications to remind you of urgent cues. No data leaves your phone during notification delivery.
- Widgets (WidgetKit): Interactive widgets read locally cached cues from your device to allow quick status updates and actions directly from your Home Screen.
3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
All in-app purchases and subscriptions (Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime) are processed directly by Apple through StoreKit 2. We do not receive, process, or store your credit card details, billing address, or financial information. Transactions are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Third-Party Services
StickyCue does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to outside parties. There are no third-party advertisements or third-party behavioral profiling tools inside the app.
5. Children’s Privacy
Because StickyCue does not collect any personal information whatsoever, it complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international child privacy frameworks.
